It Gets Better: Changemakers funds LGBTQ+ youth-led projects that create real change in communities across the country. By investing up to $10K per project plus offering mentorship and community building with youth throughout the country, we’re literally powering the leaders of tomorrow.

Since 2022, we’ve invested $1.6 million in 170+ projects, from queer proms and Pride festivals to gender-inclusive closets,  teacher trainings and more. These grassroots efforts are making schools and communities safer, more joyful, and more inclusive for the LGBTQ+ youth we serve.

Donate today and get in at the ground level for the 2026 grant cycle. This is your chance to be a grassroots funder of projects that will shape the future for LGBTQ+ youth.

- It Gets Better: Changemakers is made possible by American Eagle, Aerie, MAC Viva Glam, Humble Bundle, and with the generous support of folks like you.
